I am a writer and a certified editor, proofreader, and fact-checker who nerds out over things like serial commas and properly used semicolons. With over 17 years of experience as an attorney, I have an obsessive attention to detail and am comfortable working with technical and complex topics, as well as any citation system or style guide. 

Previously a litigator and in-house counsel for a publicly traded company, I understand how to tailor writing to purpose and audience, whether academic, business, or plain language. Research, citation checking, and fact-checking have been part of my DNA since my days as an English major in college. I am organized, responsive, and live by deadlines. 

When I'm not geeking out over em dashes, I enjoy exploring our hometown of Las Vegas with my boyfriend and our adorable Cavapoo. I am a transplant from New Jersey via Virginia and California; he is a native. We might hike in Red Rock, relax at a pool, or try a new restaurant. I'm a baseball lover (go Yankees!), and he is a football lover (go Seahawks!).
